Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Leaving your pet with a stranger is never an easy decision, and I’m sure you have a lot of questions about how it works. I’ve compiled some of the most common questions into the list below. If you want further information, just get in touch.

How many dogs can you walk at once?

When walking dogs in NYC I like them to be more of a structured walk. I can walk up to 10 dogs at once but it is not safe to do in NYC  streets. I like to walk no more than 5 so they can have more attention from me (the walker) to make them feel comfortable with me, the group and the environment.  There are tons of distractions from squirrels to other dogs passing by that can cause negative situations with multiple dogs. My walks are structured where it keeps the pups calm and in-line.  The dog should never walk the walker, the walker should have 100% control of the dog for its safety and others around. If you have anymore questions about this topic please don’t hesitate to ask.

How do Adventure walks work?

I’m still experimenting with adventure walks. At this time I am using my vehicle as means of transport for the adventure walks.  With that being said I have limited space in my Jeep. I am searching for a larger, more appropriate vehicle to have a larger volume of dogs and to make sure they are safe and comfortable on their journey through the city. If there is a park near my pick up, I will consider that park for an area to explore. Central, Pehlam and Franz Sigel are the parks of choice at moment. A meet and greet is preferred to see if he/she will be a good fit for adventure walks in my vehicle since all the pups get along well with each other. Being spayed or neutered is preferred since it helps with the temperament. If they are not a good fit at the moment, I would gladly do my best to help so he/she could get to the point of joining the rest of group. If you have any more questions about this service do not hesitate to ask.

How do you receive payments?

I accept cash, checks, and credit/debit through Square, I also accept most major forms of digital payments.  Zelle,PayPal,Venmo.

Do you accept late notice walks and is there a fee?

Yes, but it all depends on my schedule. Late notice walks are considered 24 hours before the day of the walk. Late notice walks are an additional $10.

Are you vaccinated against Covid 19 and what precautions do you take ?

Yes, I am fully vaccinated and will provide my vaccination card if needed. I wear a mask when I enter all living spaces, and carry hand sanitizer wherever I go. Everyone’s safety at this point is a priority not just the pups.

How does your cancellation policy work, and this is there a fee?

Please consider that I am doing everything my own at the moment and would deeply appreciate cancellations 12-24 hours ahead of time. Same day cancellations require a $10 fee.

Entering your home with or without keys.

First and foremost, thank you for your trust. You are trusting me with your family member and entering your personal space.  NYC is a crazy city and everyone knows that some people can’t be trusted. Some live in a house and others an apt building with a doorman or without one. If you live a house with a keypad then of course your code will be needed to enter your home. If you live in a building with or without a doorman then you can either leave a key with them or give it to me. I am highly responsible and the keys will be in my possession. Your key will be tagged and named and only be brought out my place on the days your pup needs to be walked.
